How to merge multiple PDFs into one
Merging is common when you have separate scans, statements or sections that need to be submitted as one file.
Put the files in order first
A merge appends documents from top to bottom. Decide the order you want before you start; it is easier than fixing it afterwards.
Rename the files so their names reflect the order if that helps you keep track.
Check the result
After merging, open the new file and confirm the page count matches the sum of the parts and that nothing is duplicated.
If a source file is password-protected, remove the protection first; encrypted files cannot be merged.
Check important results yourself
Guides explain a method, not a guarantee. Confirm anything critical against the original source before you rely on it. More in Help.
