Frequently asked questions
- Are my images uploaded to a server?
- No. This tool resizes the image in your browser using the canvas API. The file never leaves your device.
- Will the aspect ratio change?
- No. The image is scaled proportionally to fit inside the width and height you enter, so it is never stretched.
- Can it make an image bigger?
- This tool only scales images down. Enlarging a photo tends to reduce quality, so it is out of scope here.
